Our Story
Three partners. One shared idea.
Daniel Karl, Vivienne Mauritson and Nicholas Cuff came together around a simple conviction: clients with international interests deserve counsel that is both sophisticated and personal.
Too often, businesses and families dealing with cross-border matters find themselves passed between advisors, each seeing only part of the picture. We set out to build a firm that sees the whole of it: one where corporate, disputes and private-client experience sit side by side, and where the partners stay closely involved in the work.
From our office in New York, we advise clients on matters involving the United States and other jurisdictions, drawing on the strengths of each of our practice groups to deliver joined-up advice.

We are deliberately based in one place: New York, one of the world's great centers of law, finance and commerce. Our work, however, regularly extends far beyond it.
